Police: Relatives of wandering 3-year-old boy identified

ATLANTA -

Police spent much of the day on Saturday trying to track down the parents of 3-year-old boy found wandering outside by himself.

A spokesperson for the Atlanta Police Department tells FOX 5 news that they were called out to an apartment complex located in the 3500 of N. Camp Creek Parkway regarding that young boy who said his name was "Marquez." The boy was checked out. He appeared okay and in good spirits.

Police say they searched the complex for relatives, but didn't find any. They eventually were able to locate relatives and the childs name: Marquez Williams.

The Division of Family and Children Services are investigating and the child is in their care, but his mother, Adrianna Neal, wants her child back.
