InContext Solutions is looking to hire a motivated and entrepreneurially-minded Research Analyst for its Chicago office. Working within the Shopper & Retail Insights team, the Analyst will get unparalleled experience managing client research projects directly, working with top consumer brands (think McDonalds, Coca-Cola, Nestlé. . .), and turning data into insightful and engaging stories that meaningfully impact the way our clients run their business. This person will also have the opportunity to work with new and constantly-evolving virtual experience technology, and to play and active role in shaping this new and growing part of the market research landscape.

Following are specific required qualifications:
• Minimum Bachelor Degree in a Marketing or Social Science-related field, ideally with emphasis on statistics or quantitative research methods
• 1-3 years of market research experience
• Keen analytical and interpretative skills, attention to detail, an inquiring mind, creative ideas and plenty of enthusiasm
• Good presentation and communication skills
• Experience working in Excel and PowerPoint
• A track record of success working with cross-functional teams at all levels in a fast-paced setting
• Proven project management and organizational skills
• Friendly and likeable. We wouldn't hire someone we wouldn't like to sit next to on a plane for 12 hours.

The Analyst will report to a senior member of the Shopper & Retail Insights Team, which is a close-knit group of just 10 people from a variety of research and non-research backgrounds, all of whom share a passion for delivering strategy-defining insights to our clients. Day to day, he/she will work cross-functionally with all parts of the organization (Sales, Technology, Creative and Project Operations) to ensure the successful delivery of our research studies. As the key client point of contact for projects, this person will communicate personally with our clients, learning about their business, troubleshooting issues, managing timelines and deliverables, and presenting research findings. Ideal candidates will be local and have availability to start a new full-time position in the next 3-6 weeks. The interview process should take no more than 2-4 weeks from initial phone interview to offer letter.
