An acronym by any other name isn't quite the same

ATLANTA -

Between OMG, LOL and IDK, sometimes it seems like we almost speak an whole new language when comes to texting and social media acronyms.

Case in point, YOLO -- 'You only live once' -- can mean an excuse to one person and a reason to try anything to someone else. Context, we find, is huge.

This week, Joanna Adams decodes some commonly used acronyms gaining more and more traction in today's texting, tweeting and blogging – oh my!  Joanna says we do indeed only live once, but that there's more to life than you.

Check out the Higher Ground Facebook page where many of these acronyms run rampant. The page features posts from four Atlanta faith leaders -- the Rev. Joanna Adams, Imam Plemon El-Amin, the Rev. Joseph Roberts and Rabbi Alvin Sugarman.
