Crews clean up after Music Midtown at Piedmont Park

Posted: Updated:
ATLANTA -

The music had died down and soon, the tableau that dominated Piedmont Park will be gone.

Sunday, crews worked to tear down the stages used for Music Midtown. The two-day festival saw had thousands of fans pack the lawn of Piedmont Park.

The sold-out crowd spent Saturday huddled under tarps and umbrellas while standing in mud just to see performances from their favorite bands.

The mushy mess may be a little unsightly, but those in attendance say it was worth the fuss for the fun of the festival.

Performers in this weekend's festival were some of the biggest names in the music industry. They included the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Imagine Dragons, and 2 Chainz.
