Gwinnett County police are continuing to search for a man accused of killing three people.

Investigators say that 33-year-old Robert E. Bell shot and killed 34-year-old Angelina Benton, her 12-year-old son, Joseph McDonald, and 19-year-old family friend Raynord Daniel on Sunday night. Benton's boyfriend was seriously wounded, but survived.

Gwinnett Police homicide investigator Cpl. N.D. Washington says authorities hope to quickly pin down the whereabouts Bell.

"This was very violent and we would like to get this person off the streets as soon as possible," Washington said.

Police say Bell used an AR-15 assault rifle, but they are still unsure of the circumstances leading to the shooting.

According to authorities, Benton had offered Bell and his wife a place to stay because the couple had fallen on hard times.

Police said that Bell has connections to the Chicago-area. His SUV was recovered at the scene.
