No injuries in two-alarm Auburn Gresham fire

No one was hurt in a two-alarm fire in the South Side Auburn Gresham neighborhood Monday evening.

The fire in the 7900 block of South Union Avenue started just before 8 p.m., according to fire officials and dispatch reports.

Flames were seen coming from the second-floor and attic, Fire Media Affairs said. An extra alarm was called for the blaze, which was extinguished about 9:20 p.m.

The building dates back to around 1875, Fire Media Affairs said.

No one was injured, fire officials said.
