Construction crew hits gas main in Little Village

CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

A construction crew hit a gas main Wednesday morning in the Little Village neighobrhood, authorities said.

The Chicago Fire Department deployed a HazMat crew to the 3000 block of South Homan Avenue after the line was hit just before 10 a.m., according to Fire Media Affairs.

No injuries have been reported.
