It was in the light of the afternoon when a 14-year-old girl was hanging out at Halecreek Elementary School in Romulus.

She was waiting by a wall for a few of her friends to come around, but we were told it was a predator that showed up for her instead.

"I won't ever forget him, and I was always taught forgive, but never forget. But I won't ever forget or forgive with this guy. I hope to God you are caught, and I hope they really don't go easy on you in prison," the alleged victim said.

The man is accused of brandishing a knife and forcing himself on the young girl.

"I'm really tired of reliving it over and over for two days now," she said. "I had a knife pressed against my throat and to my sides and my stomach and my chest, and I did exactly what I was told. And he told me if you want to get away with your life, then take off your shirt."

Romulus Police said the man snatched the girl from behind and dragged her to a hidden corner where he raped her and then ran.

"Right afterwards, I looked over and there was a yellow sign that said you're always being watched on the cameras," she said.

"This school is under constant, 24 hour surveillance. He's on film. Everything he did from the time he came up here is all on film," said the alleged victim's mother.

"I've never been this mad or this hurt or scared for my kids, not just my kids, but all these kids that are up here," she added. "My daughter was raped, ripped her world apart forever."

"I've got a feeling he's been watching her."

Police said the suspect is a white male about 5'8" tall and weighing 170 pounds. He may be in his late teens or early twenties.

"If you know anything, if you recognize this guy, get ahold of Romulus Police," the mother said. "He will be caught, and I will see him in court."

"If he's not caught, he's going to keep doing it," the alleged victim said. "You can lay low as long as you want, but I guarantee, I put my life down on it, that you will be found."
