Cobb County police search for bank robber

COBB COUNTY, Ga. -

Cobb County police are searching for a bank robbery.

Police say a man walked into a SunTrust Bank in the 4300 block of Paces Ferry Road on July 19, threatened the teller with a concealed weapon and then took off with cash.

Police suspect the man shown in this photo came into the same bank three days before to case it before the robbery.

The suspect is described as a white male; early to mid 30's; 509; medium, fit build; black or dark brown hair; LSW/plain gray ball cap; wire frame, mirrored sunglasses; lt blue LS button up shirt; blue jeans with R leg torn from knee to thigh.

Anyone who might recognize the man or who has information that could help authorities is asked to call the Cobb County Police Department at (770) 499-3945.
