Husband charged in Addison woman's slaying

ADDISON, Ill. (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

Charges were filed Sunday against a west suburban Addison man accused of killing his wife to death in a domestic incident.

Kurtis Worley, of the 900 block of Craig Place, was charged with one count of first degree murder in connection with the death of his wife, Martha Worley, according to a statement from the DuPage County State's Attorney's office.Police responded at 3:12 a.m. Friday to the 900 block of North Craig Place for a "domestic disturbance," according to a release from Addison police.

Martha Worley, 39, died at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood at 5 p.m. Friday, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office. She had suffered blunt head trauma, according to the medical examiner's office.Kurtis Worley is scheduled to appear in DuPage County bond court Monday.
