It's game over for basketball at Jaycee Park in Wayne. Many homeowners surrounding it say kids were playing too late at night. Cars were speeding, people were loud and boisterous, and the basketball hoops had to come down.

"All you could hear was a lot of foul language," said neighbor Rae Ann Mack. "[It attracted] many people you know didn't live here. There would be nothing but trash in the street."

Other neighbors report cursing and fights. The ball players have migrated to another park. They say being on the basketball court keeps them out of trouble.

Since the hoops have been torn down people who live near Jaycee Park say its been quieter. But, the controversy is far from over. A group of parents plan to file another petition to have the hoops put back up. We'll keep you posted on the battle.
