Dunesday Beach Bash for Sea Bright

The Jersey Shore continues to come back to life following the destruction from superstorm Sandy.

In Sea Bright, the Dunesday Beach Bash returns, this time to benefit the Sea Bright Fire & First Aid squad.

The Mad Hatter will host the event this year after Donovan's Reff- home to the fundraiser in years past- was destroyed by superstorm Sandy.

The 20th annual fundraiser is set for Saturday, July 20, Noon - 10 p.m. (21 years old and over.)

Here is the scheduled lineup of acts:

2:00PM-2:40PM- Pat Guadagno

3:00PM-3:40PM- The Haven

4:00PM-4:40PM- Buster White

5:00PM-5:40PM- Dave Tucker

7:00PM- 7:40PM- Jukebox Criminals

8:00PM-10:00PM- Brian Kirk & the Jirks

    A New Jersey woman has filed a lawsuit against the state's Motor Vehicle Commission, claiming the agency rejected her application for a license plate proclaiming she's an Atheist. Shannon Morgan filed the suit in federal court, saying the rejection of a plate reading "8THEIST" is a violation of her First Amendment rights. The Maurice River Township woman claims plates reading "BAPTIST" have been approved.

    Officials are investigating eight confirmed cases of mumps found in students at New Jersey's Stevens Institute of Technology.The college in Hoboken says the students range in age from 18 to 21. All were fully vaccinated with two documented doses of mumps-containing vaccine.

All were fully vaccinated with two documented doses of mumps-containing vaccine. Symptoms include swollen salivary glands, fever, headache, tiredness and loss of appetite.
