FOREST PARK, Ga. -

A massive tree crashed down on top of a Forest Park daycare center on Friday evening.

It happened at the Shynobia's Daycare and Learning Center on Main Street. The tree crushed part of the building and forced the center to close.

The owner tells FOX 5 News that the roots of the tree were weakened by the on-going rains that eventually caused it to fall. The owners say that the plan to rebuild the 10-year-old building in the same location.

No one was in the building and no one was hurt.

The center, which serves 31 children, had to close Saturday. They are currently search for a temporary place to reopen their daycare.
