Located: 14-year-old girl missing from Washington Park

CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

Police said Thursday morning that the teen girl they were searching for, who went missing Monday from the Washington Park neighborhood on the South Side, has been located.

Jewel Johnson, 14, was last seen at 1:30 p.m. near the 5600 block of South Perry Avenue, according to a missing person's alert from Chicago Police.

Johnson was described as a 5-foot-6, 190 pound black girl with brown hair, brown eyes and a medium complexion. She was last seen wearing a white shirt with a pink undershirt cut in tassels at the waist, white capri pants and black flip flop shoes.

Anyone with information was asked call 911 or Area Central detectives at (312) 747-8380.
