Police: Mentally handicapped man missing from West Side

Police are searching for a mentally handicapped West Side man.

Gregory Callico, 52, was last seen about 6 p.m. Thursday near the intersection of West Ohio Street and North Trumbull Avenue, according to missing person alert issued by Chicago police.

Callico was described as black, standing 5-foot-9 and weighing 189 pounds. He has brown eyes and a medium complexion.

Callico was last seen by his mother and had been drinking before going missing.

He was last seen wearing a red shirt, plaid shorts and a tan or green hat, police said.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call Area North detectives at (312) 744-8200.
