On Wednesday's Chat Room, Sun-Times Splash Editor Susanna Negovan joined GDC anchor Anna Davlantes to discuss the release of former Illinois Gov. George Ryan from federal custody.

As of about 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, Ryan became a free man.

Also, Dennis Rodman thinks he should be considered for the next Nobel Peace Prize for his recent visit to North Korea.

In an interview with Sports Illustrate, he was quoted as saying, "Why it's been left to me to smooth things over, I don't know. But I'll tell you this: If I don't finish in the top three for the next Nobel Peace Prize, something's seriously wrong."
