Police investigate armed robberies in Peachtree City

PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. -

Police are investigating two armed robbery at a pair of convenience stores in Peachtree City this weekend.

The first happened around 9:45 p.m. Saturday at the Flash Food store located on Crosstown Drive. Police say a man went into the store and demanded money.

Witnesses describe the man as being 6 feet tall and weighing around 215 pounds with light eyes, fair skin and a large build. He fled the scene on a sports motorcycle.

Another armed robbery happened the following night around 8:15 p.m. at the Pitts Stop located at 100 Petrol Point. Police say the man demanded money and fled the store on foot.

The suspect is described as being 6 feet tall with a medium build and scruffy facial hair.

Police could not determine if the two armed robberies were connected. Anyone with information with either incident should call the Peachtree City Police Department.
