Chicago's Most Wanted: Consumer Credit Union robber

Posted: Updated:
CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

This robbery happened back on March 27, 2013. The individual walked into the Consumer Credit Union at 2750 Washington Street in Waukegan, approached the teller counter and announced a robbery. After getting an undisclosed amount of money, the robber then fled the bank on foot.

There was no weapon displayed or implied during this holdup. This is what FBI agents call a non-takeover robbery. The bank photos did capture a pretty good sequence of the robber's walk through the lobby to the teller counter. One particular photo captured a good image of his face and agents believe he would be easily recognizable to someone who knows him. They hope a Fox 32 News viewer or website user will take a good look at his picture and contact police with information about who this man is.

The FBI is offering a reward for information that helps it identify and arrest the person responsible for this robbery.

Here is the FBI's description of this bandit:

--white male

--late 40's to early 50's.

--5' 7'' to 5' 8''

--slender build.

--wore black square-rimmed glasses at the time of the robbery and had a black jacket and black knit cap

He is considered a danger to the community, if you see him you are asked to call police.
