NEWNAN, Ga. (AP) - Authorities in Coweta County have seized 220 marijuana plants that had been spotted from the air.

Lt. Col. Jimmy Yarbrough with the Coweta County Sheriff's Office tells The Atlanta Journal-Constitution the plants were found Wednesday off Bill Cline Road.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation says a mature marijuana plant is worth about $2,000. That brings the value of the seized plants to $440,000.

Yarbrough says no arrests have been made.
