ATLANTA -

ATLANTA (AP) - Police in Atlanta say they're investigating another jewelry store robbery that involved suspects using hammers to smash through display cases.

Police say two men broke through a display case at a Swiss Army Expo store in Buckhead Wednesday afternoon, grabbed several watches and fled the scene. On Friday, a store at nearby Lenox Mall was also robbed by a group of hammer-wielding men who fled with nearly $1 million worth of watches.

Earlier Wednesday, a jewelry store employee in Villa Rica was killed during a robbery in which the suspects also used hammers to destroy the glass display case.

Authorities have not indicated that any of the robberies are related.
