Michigan Art Center offers summer art camps

The Michigan Art Center is offering several camps for children of all ages this summer.

The Kid's Summer Camps runs for two weeks (6/24/13 - 7/5/13), Monday through Friday. Fourth and 5th graders start at 9 a.m. and go until noon, while 6th, 7th, and 8th graders start at 1 p.m. and end at 4 p.m.

The Kid's garden pottery class is every Wednesday for 5 weeks starting on July 10. The class starts at 9 a.m. and ends at noon and is offered to 4th and 5th graders.

Youth clay works class is every Wednesday for 5 weeks starting on July 10. The class start at 1 p.m. and ends at 4 p.m. and is offered to 6th, 7th, and 8th graders.

The adult weekly ceramics class starts the week of July 7th.

The Intro to sketching and drawing starts on July 11.
