Douglasville man arrested in massive fraud case

DOUGLASVILLE, Ga. -

A Douglas County man is behind bars after and elaborate scheme to steal thousands of dollars by using fraudulent checks and credit cards.

Police spoke exclusively to FOX 5 News on Saturday regarding the case.

Douglasville police says they arrested Christopher James in what they call a massive fraud case. They say the scheme enabled him to get his hands on $50,000 worth of fraudulent checks and credit cards.

He remains in jail as of Saturday evening. Police will be checking with neighboring jurisdictions to see if James is wanted for any additional crimes.
