LAKE ORION, Mich. (WJBK) -

The 9th Annual Canterbury Corvette Fest, sponsored by GMC Corvette Set, will be held at Olde World Canterbury Village, Lake Orion, Saturday, June 15, 2013.

The show is open to Corvettes of all years, stock, modified or custom. In recognition of the long racing history of Corvette's and Cobra's, this year we have also invited the Great Lakes Cobra Club and have Replica Cobra's as the special "Guest Marque vehicle".

Registration begins at 8:00 am. with an Awards Ceremony at 3:00 pm. Trophies will be awarded for "1st place" and "Outstanding" qualifications in sixteen classifications.

General admission to Canterbury Village is free. Participant registration is $25/car in advance or $30/car day of show. This year, participants may pre-register online through Paypal.

There will be a Silent Auction with a wide selection of items for everyone and proceeds from this Show and the Silent Auction will benefit Leader Dogs for the Blind.

Leader Dogs has been the designated charity of the Club for many years, with over $132,000 donated to Leader Dogs over that time. This year again, the show will also feature the North Oakland Dixieland Jazz Band for a free concert during the show.
