June 11: Severe storms, heavy rain Wednesday afternoon

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

Another round of showers and thunderstorms are likely late Wednesday and Wednesday night. Some of these storms could be strong or possibly severe with locally heavy rainfall.

Computer models are hinting that more than 1" of rain will fall Wednesday and Wednesday night.

Cooling down and drying out for the remainder of the weekend as highs cool into the 70s.

Wednesday: Mostly cloudy and humid. Scattered evening thunderstorms. Highs: 78-83 Lows: 58-63

Thursday: Mostly sunny and cooler. Highs: 74-79 Lows: 55-60

Friday: Mostly sunny and cool. Highs: 71-76 Lows: 52-57

Saturday: Partly sunny and warmer. Highs: 77-82 Lows: 55-60

Sunday: Mostly cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms. Highs: 80-85 Lows: 60-65

Monday: Partly sunny and mild. Slight chance of showers. Highs: 78-83 Lows: 55-60

Tuesday: Partly sunny and cooler. Highs: 74-79 Lows: 53-58
