WILMETTE, Ill. (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

An autopsy on the 20-year-old north suburban man whose body was found Monday just off the Edens Expressway confirmed that he was shot in the head.

The Cook County Medical Examiner's office said Colin Nutter of Highland Park died from a gunshot wound to the head, and ruled his death a homicide on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, police are looking for the car Nutter was apparently driving the night he was murdered: a four-door, navy blue 2002 Dodge Stratus. The car bears Illinois plates R 696 833, Wilmette police Chief Brian King said.

A dog-walker spotted Nutter's body about 8:30 p.m. Monday, lying in brush on the east side of the expressway Frontage Road, just south of the intersection of Old Glenview Road and Briar Drive.

King urged anyone with information on the whereabouts of the car, or the murder to call the North Regional Major Crimes Task Force at (847) 853-7850 or Wilmette police at (847) 256-1200.
