PHOENIX (WJBK) -

In Phoenix, officers displayed an incredible show of support for a young girl who lost her father over the weekend.

Officer Daryl Raetz, 29, died Sunday after he was struck by a vehicle while conducting a DUI stop.

On Wednesday, dozens of officers attended the kindergarten graduation of Raetz's daughter, Tatum.

FOX 10 reports about 100 officers from across the valley streamed in one by one to the small auditorium to watch Tatum get her diploma. Her mother in the front row had tears in her eyes, cheering her on.

"This is the most important thing we could do is to provide support from the family," said Sara Garza, Phoenix PD Drug Enforcement Bureau.
