A woman was reportedly hospitalized after being rescued from the Chicago River near the Michigan Avenue bridge Wednesday morning.

According to unconfirmed dispatch reports, a woman in the river near Michigan Avenue was rescued by a tour boat. She was being evaluated by paramedics at the scene about 11:20 a.m. before being taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital.

Police did not immediately have details on the incident, and a Fire Media Affairs representative was not immediately available.
