May 16: Cooler Thursday, mostly sunny

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

High pressure to our north will bring a dry and slightly cooler day on Thursday thanks to easterly winds. Highs will still climb into the upper 70s with upper 60s near the beaches.

The cold front will stall out just to our south and drift north as a warm front Friday and Saturday. This will keep the chance of a few showers and thunderstorms in the forecast along with fairly warm temperatures.

A bigger cold front will swing through late Sunday night through Monday with more wet & stormy weather.

Thursday: Mostly sunny and turning slightly cooler. Highs: 74-79 Lows: 52-57

Friday: Partly sunny with a few showers & thunderstorms. Highs: 73-78 Lows: 50-55

Saturday: Partly sunny and warmer. Highs: 77-82 Lows: 60-65

Sunday: Partly sunny and warm. Slight chance of a thunderstorm at night. Highs: 80-85 Lows: 60-65

Monday: Mostly cloudy and cooler with showers & thunderstorms. Highs: 72-77 Lows: 58-63

Tuesday: Mostly cloudy with a few showers. Highs: 71-76 Lows: 53-58

Wednesday: Partly sunny and cooler. Highs: 70-75 Lows: 50-55
