STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich. (WJBK) -

The northbound lanes of M-53 at 18 Mile Road in Sterling Heights remain closed because of an accident involving a semi-truck.

Video from the scene shows the truck flipped on its side and has leaked fuel onto the roadway.

No injuries are being reported but authorities believe M-53 near the Van Dyke entrance ramp will be closed until at least 3 p.m. while the crash is being cleared.

Sterling Heights police say the truck was carrying 38,000 pounds of empty pickle jars.

Possible detours include Mound, Utica or Shoenherr.
