The real warm up begins Tuesday as high pressure moves towards the east coast and brings up and very warm air mass from the Gulf of Mexico. Highs will climb into the mid 80s.
A weak cold front will slide through Wednesday bringing a shower in a few spots, but nothing major is expected in terms of heavy rain. Highs will still reach 80 in some spots.
Slightly drier and cooler air will move in Thursday with another storm system by Friday bringing some wet weather.
Summer-like temperatures return for the weekend with isolated thunderstorms.
