FAYETTEVILLE, Ga. -

Police have made an arrest in the attack and robbery of a woman at a Fayetteville Kohl's store.

Officers say the suspect and a possible accomplice used the victim's credit card just minutes after the robbery a few weeks ago.

The case started coming together for Fayetteville police late last week when television viewers started to recognize the suspect in news stories.

Police say they arrested 20-year-old Zaquaus Stubbs of Jonesboro. He's accused in the brutal attack of a Kohl's shopper on April 27. He allegedly stalked the woman at the store in the Fayette Pavilion and then grabbed her from behind in the parking lot, threw her to the ground and stole her purse .

Stubbs then allegedly used the woman's stolen credit card to buy gas for his friends.

Police have charged Stubbs with robbery by force and sudden snatching, battery and four counts of financial transaction card theft.

Fayetteville police haven't ruled out additional arrests in the case.
