May 7: Gorgeous Tuesday, sunny and 70s

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

Spring has made a return around the Chicago area as high pressure continues to dominate our weather pattern.

Winds will begin to shift out of the south Tuesday and Wednesday helping to warm our temperatures into the 70s.

A weak cold front will push through the area Thursday and Friday bringing another round of wet weather along with some chilly temperatures.

Tuesday: Partly sunny & warmer. Highs: 72-77 Lows: 48-53

Wednesday: Partly sunny and warm. Highs: 74-79 Lows: 50-55

Thursday: Partly sunny and mild. A chance of thunderstorms. Highs: 70-75 Lows: 48-53

Friday: Partly sunny and cooler. Chance of showers & thunderstorms. Highs: 60-65 Lows: 40-45

Saturday: Mostly sunny and colder. Highs: 58-63 Lows: 38-43

Sunday: Mostly sunny and chilly. Highs: 57-62 Lows: 39-44

Monday: Partly sunny and a little warmer. Highs: 60-65 Lows: 42-47
