PHILADELPHIA -

Police are trying to find a man who they say slugged a Temple University student in an assault that was caught on camera.

It all started with a verbal argument that police say was over someone accidentally stepping on another person's foot back on April 17 at 8 p.m. on the 1700 block of Diamond Street in Stanton.

During the argument, police allege that their suspect, Domenic Pesce, suddenly punched the 20-year-old student in the face.

The student suffered severe injuries and a broken jaw in the aggravated assault, according to police.

Police described Pesce as a 25-year-old white male from the 1500 block of Locust Street. He also has a secondary address from the 200 block of Montgomery Drive in Mantua, N.J., and he's known to frequent the Temple campus.

If you see the suspect, police say not approach him; call 9-1-1 immediately.

To submit a tip on his whereabouts via telephone, dial 215-686-TIPS (8477). You can text a tip to PPD TIP or 773847, or use this electronic form to submit a tip anonymously.
