1 Dead After Motorcycle Strikes Car

PHILADELPHIA -

Police say a 39-year-old man died Tuesday evening after his motorcycle ran a red light and struck a car in Philadelphia.

The crash happened around 8:30 p.m. at the intersection of Harbison and Robbins.

According to investigators, the motorcycle was traveling westbound when it cut between two lanes and ran a red light, hitting a vehicle as it was making a left turn onto Robbins Street.

Police say the man was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators have not released the name of the victim.
