April 23: Periods of rain Tuesday, late snow possible

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

A slow moving cold front will swing through Tuesday bringing periods of rain along with a rumble of thunder. The air will be cold enough for a few snow flurries late Tuesday night.

Rainfall amounts will range between .50" to .75".

Much colder and drier weather arrives Wednesday as high temps drop back into the lower 50s.

Tuesday: Cloudy and cooler with periods of rain and isolated thunderstorms. Highs: 53-58 Lows: 35-40

Wednesday: Mostly sunny & cool. Highs: 48-53 Lows: 30-35

Thursday: Partly sunny and continued cool. Highs: 50-55 Lows: 36-41

Friday: Mostly cloudy & cool with a few showers late. Highs: 58-63 Lows: 44-49

Saturday: Mostly cloudy with a slight chance of showers early. Highs: 60-65 Lows: 48-53

Sunday: Partly sunny and warmer. Highs: 64-69 Lows: 50-55

Monday: Partly sunny with a few showers. Highs: 68-73 Lows: 52-57
