Police search for Palos Hills bank robber

PALOS HILLS (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

Authorities are looking for the man who robbed a bank Friday afternoon in southwest suburban Palos Hills.

The man robbed the Bank of America branch in the 10200 block of Roberts Road on Friday, but did not show a weapon, according to the FBI.

He is described as a 5-foot-10 to 6-foot white man, the FBI said. He is in his mid-20s, about 180 pounds with a "stocky" build, and was last seen wearing a puffy coat and black hooded sweatshirt.

A reward is being offered for information leading to his arrest and conviction. Anyone with information should call (312) 421-6700.
