CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -
There is a Flood Watch from Wednesday afternoon through Friday morning. Rainfall amounts through Friday will range between 2 & 3" with locally higher amounts.
Heavy rainfall and flooding on Thursday as a strong cold front approaches from the west. Some of these thunderstorms could be severe along with locally heavy rains. Highs should easily climb into the 70s across many areas.
Much colder weather will arrive Friday with highs dipping into the upper 40s. There is a chance of morning showers on Friday.
The start of the weekend looks cool, but dry with highs near 50.
Thursday: Cloudy, windy, and warm with showers and thunderstorms. Some severe with locally heavy rain. Highs: 68-73 Lows: 50-55
Friday: Mostly cloudy, windy, and chilly with scattered flurries and light rain early. Highs: 42-47 Lows: 28-33
Saturday: Mostly sunny and cool. Highs: 50-55 Lows: 30-35
Sunday: Partly sunny and warmer. Chance of a shower. Highs: 53-58 Lows: 38-43
Monday: Mostly cloudy with a few showers & isolated thunderstorms. Highs: 60-65 Lows: 45-50
