Greenfield Village reopened its gates for the season Monday. This year marks Henry Ford's 150th birthday, and Greenfield Village will be celebrating that milestone throughout the summer.

Starting in June, guests will be able to meet Henry Ford as an actor portrays the Village's founder at age 30. The Miller School, which Ford attended as a child, will also be open to the public.

Other events planned for the summer include a visit by Thomas the Train on April 28th, a civil rights remembrance during Memorial Day weekend and performances by the Detroit Symphony Orchestra during the July 4th holiday.

Greenfield Village is open from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily. Admission for adults is $24; youths ages five to twelve are $17.50. Children four and under are free.
