Police in Clayton County say they are looking for a man accused of shooting his girlfriend multiple times at a home on Sunday.
They say 51-year-old Willie Thomas Mosley is accused of shooting and killing Doris Young in the front yard of a home on Pine Meadow Drive in Morrow, and then fled in a beige 1993 Mazda 626 with Georgia plates BEF7260.
Loved ones said that Young, 43, was trying to get in the car and leave when she was shot several times.
"My sister has taken care of him for the last 20 years and he shoots her like a dog? That is just heartbreaking," said Chantelle Simmons, Young's sister.
Young's daughter, Latanya, said that Mosley called her cell phone on Wednesday morning from a blocked number.
"He just called and said he was sorry. Just kept saying that he was sorry," said Latanya Young.
Young was the manager of an Atlanta motel. The owner said that his security cameras captured video of a man fitting Mosley's description leaving Young's car in the parking lot late Sunday night.
Investigators say Mosley has relatives in the Ellenwood area and may seek refuge there.
Mosley is facing several charges including murder and aggravated assault. Police consider him armed and dangerous.
