Wolcheck: Hall of Shame alum gets a spring cleaning

Posted: Updated:
PORT HURON, Mich. (WJBK) -

You first met him exactly one year ago.

Dave West, the messy mechanic who refused to comply with everyone's demands was one of those dudes who got up in my grill and yelled.

He was loud, lewd and certainly didn't care that his neighbors - or the City of Port Huron - wanted him to clean up.

Dave's property was full of junked-out cars, barrels of oil and tires. A nasty stain on an otherwise nice neighborhood.

After I did my story, his neighbors kept contacting me to let me know the property still looked bad as ever.

But now, there's been a change.

Did Dave change from grubby to well-groomed? Did he change his ways and clean up his property?
