Two police officers hurt in Rogers Park crash

CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

Two police officers were hurt in a Tuesday night collision in the North Side Rogers Park neighborhood.

The police officers were responding to a call when the vehicle they were in was struck near North Sheridan Road and West Morse Avenue sometime after 7:30 p.m., Fire Media Affairs Director Larry Langford said.

Both officers suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston in good condition, Langford said.

Police had no immediate information on the crash.
