CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

An autopsy on the body of a 40-year-old woman pulled from the North Branch of the Chicago River Tuesday morning was inconclusive.

The Cook County Medical Examiner's office said the results of the autopsy for Robbie Garrett, of the 10900 block of South Racine Avenue, were inconclusive pending the results of a toxicology test.

Police were notified about 8:15 a.m. of a body in the river near the 4200 block of West Foster Avenue, according to police News Affairs Officer Jose Estrada.

The police Marine Unit was called to the scene, Estrada said. The body was pulled from the river and Garrett was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Medical Examiner's office.

Area North detectives are conducting a death investigation.
