Police seek suspects in Grand Boulevard robberies: Alert

Police are warning South Side residents of two recent aggravated robberies in the Grand Boulevard neighborhood.

The suspects imply they have a weapon and rob victims, but no weapons have been displayed, according to an alert issued Sunday by Area Central detectives.

Both robberies happened in the 5100 block of South Prairie Avenue, the alert said.

The suspects have been described as four males, about 5-foot-8, with dreadlocks and wearing black hooded sweatshirts, the alert said. Two other suspects are described as 17 or 18 years old and about 5-foot-7.
