March 24: Periods of snow Sunday

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

We will be on the northern edge of a winter storm that crosses central Illinois on Sunday. There will be periods of snow across Chicago with some accumulation possible.

Along the Wisconsin border expect o-1". From the city north and west expect 1-3". From the city south and west 2-4" possible. From Kankakee southward 4-8" is possible. Sunday night and Monday some lake effect snow is possible for all areas close to the lake. By Wednesday high pressure returns with 40's and sunshine. 50 possible by Friday. 

 

Sunday: Cloudy and breezy with periods of snow and some accumulation. Highs: 33-35 Lows: 30-33

Monday: Mostly cloudy and breezy with lake effect snow possible. Highs: 33-35 Lows: 26-30

Tuesday: Partly sunny with a few flurries. Highs: 34-37 Lows: 25-30

Wednesday: Mostly sunny. Highs: 40-42 Lows: 25-30

Thursday: Partly sunny. Highs: 42-47 Lows: 28-33

Friday: Partly sunny. Highs: 45-50 Lows: 30-35
