The mother of a slain Chicago teenager Hadiya Pendleton told FOX 32 News that a foundation is being established in her daughter's name.
Cleopatra Cowley-Pendleton said the foundation to help remember her daughter is in very early stages. But she did say the foundation will provide social, economic and education services.
Hadiya Pendleton, 15, was shot and killed in January in a South Side park, just one week after she performed at festivities surrounding President Obama's inauguration.
