Community will remember Rob Komosa at visitation

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

Visitation for Rob Komosa, the high school athlete critically injured during a Rolling Meadows football practice 13 years ago, will be held Friday.

Komosa was 17 years old at the time of his injury. The incident left him unable to walk, move his arms and legs or breathe on his own. He was 30-years-old when he died of respiratory failure on Monday.

Visitation will be held on Friday from 3-9 p.m. at the Glueckert Funeral Home in Arlington Heights.

His funeral will be held Saturday morning at St. Thomas Becket Catholic Church in Mount Prospect.
