DIXON, Ill. (Associated Press) -

The U.S. Marshals Service is auctioning more jewelry that belonged to a former northern Illinois bookkeeper who embezzled almost $54 million from her hometown.

Among the more than 140 lots of jewelry once owned by ex-Dixon comptroller Rita Crundwell are a $25,000 Rolex watch a $4,200 gold bracelet. The jewelry will be sold via a live and webcast auction on Saturday.

The 60-year-old Crundwell was sentenced last month to almost 20 years in prison for stealing city funds to support a lavish lifestyle and nationally known quarter horse-breeding operation.

She pleaded guilty to embezzling the money from 1991 until her arrest last April.

The Marshals Service previously auctioned Crundwell's horses, homes, farms, household items and some jewelry.

Prosecutors say they expect Dixon to recover about $10.5 million.
