Man tries to lure teen girl into vehicle in Marquette Park: Alert

CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) -
A man attempted to lure a teenage girl into his car last week in Marquette Park on the Southwest Side.
The 16-year-old girl was waiting for a bus at 6 a.m. on March 4 in the 7100 block of South Sacramento Avenue when a man approached in a gray, four-door sedan and asked her to get inside, according to a community alert from Area Central detectives.
The suspect said he would buy the girl something at a store, the alert said. The girl did not go near the vehicle and quickly got on a bus.
The suspect is described as a clean-shaven African American man in his 30s, the alert said. He was wearing a baseball cap, clear glasses and a black puffy jacket.
