CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -
One more thing, about the new TSA rules on what you can carry-on through airport security.
Beginning next month, small knives and some sporting equipment will once again be allowed on planes. This is supposed to keep the focus on finding higher threat items. But some people--including air marshals and flight attendants, are worried. And so am I. Not about hijackers bringing a plane down. I'm afraid of my fellow drunk passengers.
It hasn't been unusual lately to see air rage and out-of-control passengers being restrained and authorities waiting to arrest unruly fliers when they land. Sometimes even a crew member has gone nuts. What if these people had knives? Even small ones?
Scary thought isn't it? So is the image of passengers stumbling down the aisle smashing your elbows with their golf clubs or trying to jam ski poles into the packed overhead bin, sending a steady stream of samsonite onto your head. Enjoy the friendly skies!
