Harold D. Blackburn CPA, Inc. is an accounting firm located in Wilmette, IL (14 miles North of Chicago). We specialize in tax preparation and planning, financial statement preparation and IRS representation. We serve individuals and mid-sized corporations and have been in operation for nearly 25 years.

Applicants should have an interest in learning about income taxes, compilation and reviews and a variety of client projects. The following are general areas of responsibilities/functions that will be associated with your position:

Financial Statement Preparation

Individual and Business Tax Returns

Payroll and Sales Tax Returns

Responding to Federal and State Tax Notices

Mastery of Excel Spreadsheets

Bookkeeping

Special Tax requests

Administrative tasks which include copying, faxing, filing and collating tax returns

This position provides excellent exposure for one to enhance their tax and accounting skills. This position has definite growth potential possibility. Candidates must have a degree in Accounting and must be a CPA or working toward a CPA.

Requirements

Applicant must have had at least 2-3 years of Public Accounting experience.

Candidates must have a degree in Accounting and must be a CPA or working toward a CPA.

Knowledge of Quickbooks, MAS90, Microsoft Excel and ATX Tax Software.
